How FARUQ screens
Screening logic lives entirely on the backend. Evidence is retrieved, criteria are evaluated against explicit rules, and each outcome is recorded with the methodology and engine version that produced it. Where language models assist with extraction, they never decide a verdict or invent a source.
Every conclusion maps to named criteria from a versioned methodology. Published standards are cited separately from FARUQ’s own interpretation.
Assessments carry source URLs and retrieval dates. Evidence quality is recorded separately from religious certainty, so weak coverage is visible.
Spot ownership, staking, lending, margin and derivatives are assessed as distinct scopes. A token-level result never implies every use is permissible.
Assessments are versioned. When a verdict changes, the previous version and the reason for the change remain on the record.
Religious assessment statuses are kept strictly separate from operational job states such as queued, processing, failed or stale. Missing information never produces a passing result.
Signed-in users can request a screening or a refresh. Requests are queued as durable backend jobs; you can follow their progress and the previous assessment stays on the record until a new one completes.
